This full-time position focuses on driving sales, profitability, and strategic growth.
Responsibilities
- Maximize sales and profitability to meet corporate financial targets.
- Design and implement business development strategies for new and existing services.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive customer database in the company’s CRM system.
- Acquire new markets and present company products and services to potential and existing clients.
- Use CRM tools to collect customer feedback and recommend service improvements.
- Arrange periodic meetings with clients to ensure continued patronage.
- Negotiate and close business deals by coordinating requirements and developing SLAs.
- Develop partnerships to explore new business opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports on business development activities.
- Support marketing campaigns, conferences, and exhibitions to increase visibility.
- Conduct market research and prospecting for new customers.
- Track and report on potential opportunities in the market region.
- Assist in preparing RFQs, RFPs, EoIs, and tender documents.
- Solicit customer feedback through periodic surveys.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales.
- Proven track record in sales.
- Excellent client relationship management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages such as PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to deliver convincing oral presentations.
- MSc, MBA, or postgraduate degree is an advantage.
