About the role
Fadac Resources and Services Limited provides human capital solutions to help organizations improve performance and reduce risk. We are looking for a Business Development Consultant / Manager to join our team in Lagos. This full-time position focuses on driving business growth by promoting our solutions to healthcare stakeholders, including hospitals, pharmacies, HMOs, and corporate organizations. The role combines strategic sales with relationship management and team mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth: Identify new business opportunities and expand existing client accounts to meet revenue targets.
- Manage relationships: Build and maintain strong connections with hospitals, clinics, laboratories, HMOs, and government agencies.
- Lead sales: Conduct high-level presentations, negotiate partnership agreements, and close commercial contracts.
- Mentor team: Coach and support Junior Medical Consultants with field guidance and best practices.
- Strategic planning: Develop business development plans, prepare sales forecasts, and analyze market trends.
- Representation: Represent the organization at industry conferences, exhibitions, and professional forums.
- Compliance: Ensure all client interactions adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, Public Health, Biological Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years in medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, healthcare consulting, or a similar client-facing role.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Nigerian healthcare system, financing, and service delivery.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
- Other: Willingness to travel frequently and work independently while contributing to a team.
