Pem Security Guard Network Limited is a fully licensed and insured security company seeking a dynamic Business Developer to join our team in Umuahia. This full-time position focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sustainable growth. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive proposals and marketing strategies.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics on a consistent basis.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, market conditions, and client feedback for management review.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the client base and increase revenue.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Developer or similar role within a generic industry environment.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, market analysis, and business development strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred with 1-12 years experience.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Must be residing in Umuahia.
