About the role
Misan & Co is a hospitality venue in Lagos designed for intimate gatherings and real conversation. We are seeking a Brand Photographer & Videographer to capture the essence of our spaces, food, and guest experiences. You will work closely with the founders, Social Media Manager, and operations team to translate creative briefs into high-quality visual content. This role is ideal for a creative professional who values discretion, consistency, and storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the operations team to cover key moments without disrupting service.
- Translate content briefs into shot lists and prepare equipment before each shoot.
- Capture vertical and horizontal footage suitable for social media, advertising, and website use.
- Deliver edited photographs and agreed video edits on schedule.
- Maintain consistent colour, image quality, and visual style across all assets.
- Organise, back up, and label files for easy retrieval and reuse.
- Work discreetly around guests, respecting consent arrangements and privacy.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in photography and videography.
- A strong portfolio of photography and video work; hospitality, lifestyle, or event experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in photo editing and at least one professional video-editing application.
- Competence with cameras, lighting, audio recording, and stabilisation equipment.
- Strong composition, storytelling skills, and attention to detail.
- Availability for Friday office attendance, scheduled weekday shoots, and weekend event coverage.
- Ability to work in changing lighting conditions and under time pressure.
