About the role
Alfred and Victoria Associates is seeking a Brand Manager to oversee its beauty and personal care product portfolio. Based in Lagos, this full-time position reports to the Head of Marketing. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, strengthening brand visibility, and ensuring that assigned brands meet their commercial and marketing objectives. The role combines strategic brand management, digital marketing, and market analysis to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage product promotions, campaigns, activations, and product launches.
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across social media, e-commerce, and influencer marketing.
- Supervise the creation of creative assets, product content, and promotional materials.
- Manage the brand’s social media presence to ensure consistent messaging and customer engagement.
- Develop marketing briefs for sales teams and provide training on product features and positioning.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences within the beauty industry.
- Drive e-commerce and digital sales initiatives in collaboration with commercial teams.
- Analyze sales performance against targets and recommend strategies to address gaps.
- Manage digital advertising budgets and monitor campaign return on investment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing, brand management, or portfolio management.
- Experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, personal care, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG industries is preferred.
- Proven experience managing products or brands from strategy development through execution.
- Strong skills in digital marketing, e-commerce, social media, and consumer-focused campaigns.
