About the role
Premium Human Resources Solution is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a banking branch in Lagos. This full-time position reports to the Regional Manager or Head of Branch Banking. You will be responsible for the branch’s overall operations, profitability, and customer experience. The role requires driving deposit mobilisation, loan growth, and customer acquisition while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance and risk management standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute branch business plans aligned with strategic objectives.
- Drive revenue growth through deposit mobilisation, lending, and customer acquisition.
- Oversee daily operations, including transaction processing, cash management, and service delivery.
- Manage credit activities, including loan origination, appraisal, and portfolio monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with CBN regulations, KYC, AML, and CTF requirements.
- Lead, motivate, and manage branch staff to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Prepare periodic reports on financial performance, customer acquisition, and operational metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant banking experience.
- At least 3–5 years in a supervisory or management position within a financial institution.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, credit management, and regulatory compliance.
- Professional qualifications such as ACIB, ACA, or ACCA are an advantage.
- Demonstrated track record in achieving deposit, revenue, and profitability targets.
