About the role
Phillips Outsourcing Limited is seeking a Branch Head to join their team in Onitsha, Anambra. With over 16 years of experience in the outsourcing business, the company manages resources for major clients across Nigeria and is expanding into other African nations. This full-time position focuses on driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence within the branch.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
- Meet key performance targets and maintain strong relationships with brokers, retail, non-life, and direct customers.
- Oversee daily branch operations, including staff training, performance management, and market analysis.
- Plan and execute business development activities to drive branch performance.
- Maintain excellent customer service through account follow-ups and team monitoring.
- Oversee branch profitability, financial performance, and asset management.
- Identify and develop new business leads to expand the customer base.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in finance, sales, or a relevant business role.
- Membership of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).
- Ability to analyse financial statements and participate in strategic planning.
- Strong supervisory, leadership, and team management skills.
- Good understanding of business dynamics, sales, and marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
