About the role
Grunlab Limited is a company specializing in the sales, repair, and maintenance of medical and laboratory equipment, kits, and consumables. We are currently seeking a dedicated Biomedical Engineer to join our team in Lagos on a full-time basis.
This position offers a monthly salary between ₦230,000 and ₦250,000. The role involves hands-on technical work, customer interaction, and travel to various client sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, maintain, and repair medical and laboratory equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment faults and provide timely technical support to customers.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and equipment servicing.
- Train customers on the proper use and care of their equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to conduct product demonstrations and provide technical assistance.
- Monitor spare parts and servicing requirements.
- Travel to customer locations for installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in medical or laboratory equipment servicing.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of medical or laboratory equipment is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for customer support and equipment installations.
