About the role
PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc is seeking a Beach Master to join their team in Aba, Abia. This position reports to the Site Operations Manager and focuses on ensuring that materials are received, accounted for, and maintained at the required quality and quantity levels. You will provide essential support services to the factory operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive bulk oil from various locations into Beach Storage Tanks after quality control approval.
- Issue oil from storage tanks to the Bleaching Section as requested.
- Document all material receipts and maintain accurate records.
- Submit daily stock sheets to the Planning/Stores Manager.
- Conduct monthly stock counts and compare records with physical stock to identify discrepancies.
- Report unforeseen circumstances to the Manager and await instructions.
- Provide on-the-job training and supervise subordinate staff.
- Maintain safe working conditions and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Requirements
- OND, HND, or BSc in Social Sciences or Engineering.
- Minimum of five years of work experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
