About the role
Tilone Subsea Limited is a marine contracting and subsea inspection, maintenance, and repair company based in Port Harcourt. We are looking for an experienced Base Engineer to manage our operational base, workshop activities, and logistics support for offshore projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, schedule, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Perform quality control on budgets, schedules, and personnel performance.
- Develop plans and work procedures for projects.
- Liaise with administration to raise purchase orders for spares and consumables.
- Maintain operation logs, including dive logs and fault logs, to prepare monthly performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, and company policies.
- Lead routine maintenance on company equipment in the base and offshore locations.
- Prepare reports, proposals, and tenders as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Base, Workshop, or Maintenance Engineer, preferably in Oil & Gas, Marine, or Subsea sectors.
- B.Eng or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and lifting equipment.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and equipment certification.
- Must reside in Port Harcourt.
- Must be 35 years or older.
- Professional certification (COREN, HSE Level 3) is an added advantage.
