About the role
TruckSoft Logistics Limited is a technology-driven company focused on safe and efficient transportation. We are looking for an Automechanical Technician with Mechatronics expertise to join our team in Surulere, Lagos. This full-time position offers a salary of N250,000 per month and plays a key part in maintaining the reliability of our heavy-duty fleet.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks.
- Perform servicing, repairs, component replacement, and system testing.
- Troubleshoot engine management, transmission, braking, ABS/EBS, lighting, and sensor systems.
- Respond to vehicle breakdowns and provide technical support.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment.
- Use diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment to identify faults.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety procedures and regulations.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
- Support the maintenance of automated and mechatronic systems in fleet operations.
Requirements
- HND or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical or Automotive Technician.
- Strong knowledge of truck brands commonly used in Nigeria, such as Sino and Howo.
- Practical experience with commercial vehicles, trucks, trailers, or fleet operations.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
- Experience with ECUs, CAN-bus systems, vehicle tracking, sensors, actuators, or ABS/EBS systems is advantageous.
- Experience with fleet maintenance in a logistics or transport company is an advantage.
