About the role
Kiyix Recruitment Hub is hiring on behalf of a reputable Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company. We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Auditor to join our team in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos. This is a full-time position focused on promoting financial accountability and ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities
- Review financial records, transactions, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct regular audits to identify financial discrepancies, irregularities, and operational risks.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements to strengthen financial accountability.
- Verify expenses, payments, and financial documentation to ensure proper authorisation.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to improve financial processes and minimise errors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant experience in auditing or internal control.
- Good knowledge of auditing procedures, financial reporting, and internal control systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently, identify financial risks, and recommend practical solutions.
- Must reside in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos, or its surrounding environs.
