About the role
Green Africa Airways Limited is a value airline based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are a new carrier committed to providing safe, reliable, and affordable air travel. This role is a key part of our rapidly expanding Flight Operations team.
As a Captain, you will be the commander of the aircraft during all normal and abnormal situations. Your primary goal is to maintain the highest level of safety for the aircraft, crew, passengers, and cargo. You will also act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the corporate image of Green Africa is upheld at all times.
Responsibilities
- Command the ATR 72-500/600 aircraft in all operational scenarios.
- Ensure the safety of the aircraft, crew, passengers, and cargo.
- Maintain an efficient and profitable operation.
- Set, maintain, and demonstrate high professional standards.
- Uphold the corporate image and brand values of Green Africa Airways.
Requirements
- Hold an ICAO ATPL with the ATR 72-500/600 type rating.
- First class medical certificate.
- ICAO level 4 English or above.
- A minimum of 4,000 total flying hours.
- At least 1,500 airline command hours.
- At least 500 hours on the ATR 600 series.
- Must have flown within the last 24 months.
