About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Lecturer to join the Faculty of Social Science in the Department of Sociology & Anthropology.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students.
- Conduct research activities and contribute to the academic output of the department.
- Supervise postgraduate students where applicable.
- Participate in academic conferences, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
- Provide academic-related services to the university and the nation.
Requirements
- A good honours Bachelor’s degree and a relevant Master’s degree from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. in progress is required.
- Evidence of teaching and research potential.
- Relevant professional registration where applicable.
- Digital literacy is a mandatory requirement.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate where applicable.
