About the role
Intelligence Properties is a leading multidisciplinary property service company in Nigeria. We are looking for a creative, technically sound, and detail-oriented Architect to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will contribute to the design, development, and execution of our real estate projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and development approvals.
- Identify design and construction issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Liaise with contractors, engineers, quantity surveyors, and other project stakeholders.
- Prepare and review architectural specifications and documentation.
- Review shop drawings, materials, and samples where required.
- Support project presentations, proposals, and design reports.
- Conduct site visits and monitor works for compliance with approved designs.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and working drawings.
- Produce 2D/3D presentations and architectural visualisations.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building regulations and planning requirements.
- Maintain accurate drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input.
- Coordinate designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other consultants.
- Develop architectural concepts and designs for residential and commercial projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent.
- 2–5 years’ relevant experience in architecture, construction, or real estate development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design and construction processes.
- Strong understanding of building materials and construction methods.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian building regulations and planning requirements.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- ARCON registration is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, Enscape, or ArchiCAD is an advantage.
