About the role
African Industries Group (AIG) is a highly mechanized, technology-driven agricultural company with farm operations in Badagry and Igbodu, Lagos State. They are looking for a qualified and experienced Animal Nutritionist to join their team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Formulate least-cost rations for dairy, beef, and poultry operations.
- Design and conduct feed trials, providing performance reports and recommendations.
- Monitor feed conversion, weight gain, and milk production.
- Establish feed ingredient quality specifications.
- Advise on forage quality and conservation.
- Train farm attendants on feeding practices and TMR mixing.
Requirements
- M.Sc in Animal Nutrition or Animal Science (mandatory).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in ration formulation and feed trials.
- Proficiency in ration formulation software such as NDS, AMTS, or CPM-Dairy.
- Strong feed analytics and performance management skills.
- NIAS registration or eligibility to register.
- Willingness to work across both farm locations as required.
