About the role
Odixcity Consulting is an international HR consulting and procurement firm. We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical AI Trainer to help improve our artificial intelligence systems. In this remote role, you will train, evaluate, and refine machine learning models by providing high-quality data annotation, feedback, and performance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Design strategies for generating high-quality synthetic data to improve model robustness.
- Develop complex prompt templates and testing scenarios to evaluate model performance in coding, creative writing, reasoning, and multilingual tasks.
- Guide and review the work of junior trainers and data annotators to ensure consistency.
- Define rubrics for model output quality and analyze failures to identify bias or logical errors.
- Create high-quality “golden datasets” that set the standard for model behavior.
- Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers and Product Managers to translate research goals into training tasks.
- Maintain documentation of training methodologies and model behaviors.
- Manage end-to-end training workflows, including supervised fine-tuning (SFT), RLHF, and red-teaming exercises.
- Identify barriers in the training workflow and propose improvements to internal tools.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field such as Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Willingness to shift between technical tasks (e.g., ranking code) and creative tasks (e.g., writing fiction).
- Familiarity with Python, JSON, or APIs is a plus.
- Willingness to learn internal tooling and understand basic machine learning concepts.
- Proven ability to dissect complex problems and articulate abstract concepts clearly.
- Experience using data analysis to justify training decisions.
- Comfortable reading technical papers and staying updated on AI safety research.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
