About the role
JB Limited, an engineering company, is seeking a highly organised Aftersales Coordinator to join their team in Kano. This full-time position involves coordinating service operations and managing customer relationships across Northern Nigeria, including Abuja. You will act as the key link between customers, field technicians, and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of aftersales requests.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate after-sales service activities and customer requests across assigned locations in Northern Nigeria.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to understand needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and field service visits.
- Liaise with technicians and departments to resolve complaints and technical issues.
- Monitor outstanding service requests and follow up until completion.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse to ensure spare parts and tools are available.
- Support the administration of warranty claims and maintenance contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of service reports and maintenance schedules.
- Prepare periodic reports on service performance and operational activities.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate management or technical team.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in aftersales coordination or service operations.
- Proven experience coordinating customer service or technical operations across multiple locations.
- Experience in power generation, generator servicing, or industrial equipment is an advantage.
- Strong customer relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and service reporting systems.
- Willingness to travel across Northern Nigeria, including Abuja.
