About the role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Aesthetic Nurse to join their beauty clinic in Victoria Island, Lagos. In this full-time, onsite position, you will perform and assist with cosmetic and skin rejuvenation treatments. You will report directly to the Clinic Manager and play a key role in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction while maintaining high clinical and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations to assess facial features, skin conditions, and medical history to develop suitable treatment plans.
- Administer injectable treatments such as Botox, Dysport, and dermal fillers, where appropriately trained and authorized.
- Perform advanced skin treatments including chemical peels, microneedling, PRP, microdermabrasion, and mesotherapy.
- Operate aesthetic devices for laser hair removal, IPL photofacials, skin tightening, tattoo removal, and non-invasive body contouring.
- Educate patients on treatment preparation, aftercare, possible side effects, and realistic outcomes.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and ensure appropriate documentation and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and take standardized before-and-after treatment photographs.
- Follow all clinical protocols, infection prevention procedures, and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Provide professional skincare recommendations and support treatment follow-ups and rebooking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate Degree in Nursing, or an equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) qualification and current professional registration/licence.
- Minimum of 2 years’ professional nursing experience in a medical setting, preferably in dermatology, aesthetic clinics, plastic surgery, intensive care, or emergency care.
- Practical knowledge of facial anatomy, skin health, and cosmetic treatment techniques.
- Experience with aesthetic injectables, advanced skin therapies, and laser devices is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain procedures and risks in simple terms.
- Good judgment, attention to detail, empathy, and professionalism when handling patients’ cosmetic concerns.
- High level of discretion and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical records and comply with established safety procedures.
