About the role
KAAF Specialist Hospital is seeking a qualified Accounts Officer to join our team in Yaba, Lagos. This is a full-time position focused on financial management and HMO liaison. The role does not offer accommodation, so living near Akoka Yaba is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Participate in audits and act as the primary liaison between the hospital and HMO partners.
- Ensure prompt and accurate payments by managing HMO claims and receivables.
- Reconcile payables and bank activities.
- Post standard journal entries and monitor financial transactions.
- Assist with budgeting processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in HMO claims management and reconciliation within a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one accounting software (Sage ERP preferred).
- Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial policies, procedures, and systems.
