About the role
Addoz Integrated Resources is hiring an Accounting Officer to support a reputable agro-processing and cashew manufacturing company. This is a full-time position available in two locations: Mowe in Ogun State and Ilupeju in Lagos State. The role focuses on overseeing financial operations within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and periodic reports.
- Monitor and analyze production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overheads.
- Track raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory.
- Reconcile inventory records with physical stock counts.
- Monitor accounts payable, receivable, and supplier balances.
- Perform bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory requirements.
Requirements
- HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ cognate accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in agro-processing, food processing, or FMCG is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting and inventory valuation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- ICAN or ACCA certification is an added advantage.
