About the role
Nigeria Sinotrucks Limited is a leading manufacturer and assembler of trucks in Nigeria. We are looking for a motivated NYSC Corps Member to join our Finance and Accounts team. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, and treasury operations within a professional corporate setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and keep accounting records up to date.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and account analysis.
- Support the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Help with audit and tax compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Minimum of a 2:1 (Second Class Upper) degree classification.
- Currently serving or about to commence NYSC.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be located within the Surulere axis.
