About the role
TeamAce Limited is hiring an Accountant for a reputable organization in the Travel & Tourism sector. Based in Victoria Island, Lagos, this full-time position focuses on managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining effective financial controls within the travel agency operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, management accounts, budgets, and periodic reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile airline, ticketing, vendor, and customer accounts while resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, audit, and internal financial control requirements.
- Monitor expenses and revenue to provide timely financial information for management decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ICAN certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience, preferably within a Travel Agency or Travel & Tourism business.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, taxation, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with AirBooks is an added advantage.
