About the role
Residency Hotel Limited is a leading hospitality company in Nigeria with over 30 years of experience and more than 10 branches. We are looking for a results-driven Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts department. This full-time position is based at our Lekki branch, specifically at Km 13 Lekki Epe Exp way, Opp Zenith bank, Ologolo bus stop. The salary is negotiable.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct inventory audits and reconcile records with operational departments.
- Monitor cash flow and implement effective financial control measures.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is an added advantage.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
