About the role
Kiyix Recruitment Hub is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join a client in the pharmaceutical or retail sector. This full-time position is based in Ebute-meta, Lagos. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The role offers a monthly salary of N200,000.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily sales, POS transactions, and cash collections.
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and financial regulations.
- Monitor sales revenue, expenses, cash flow, and bank transactions.
- Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare payroll schedules and assist with statutory deductions.
- Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Experience in pharmacy, retail, or FMCG accounting is an added advantage.
