Garki Hospital Abuja, a 100-plus bedded facility in the Federal Capital Territory, is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their finance team. The hospital operates under a public-private partnership model and is known for providing both general and specialized healthcare services.
Responsibilities
While specific daily tasks are not itemized, the role involves managing financial accounting processes, including general ledger management, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable and receivable. You will also be responsible for financial reporting and ensuring tax compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant, preferably ICAN, or an equivalent recognised professional qualification.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant post-professional qualification experience in accounting or finance.
- Good knowledge of financial accounting, general ledger management, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with high standards of accuracy and integrity.
