About the role
Excel and Grace Consulting is a certified management consultancy with over 18 years of experience serving small and medium-scale enterprises across Nigeria, Ghana, Germany, Switzerland, and Canada. We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join our team in Port Harcourt. This full-time position focuses on maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring proper financial controls within our diagnostic center operations.
Responsibilities
- Process and document expenses, purchases, and supplier payments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly income and expenditure reports.
- Monitor payments received from patients, corporate clients, and HMOs.
- Prepare payroll information and assist with salary payments.
- Track outstanding invoices and follow up on receivables.
- Reconcile cash, bank, POS, and other payment records.
- Maintain proper records of medical supplies and inventory-related costs.
- Assist with tax, statutory, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or diagnostic services.
- Strong numerical, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Professional accounting qualification or relevant certification is an advantage.
- Honesty, attention to detail, and confidentiality are essential.
