About the role
Ascentech Services Limited is a Human Resource Solution Provider based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Victoria Island. This full-time position involves managing financial records, overseeing daily accounting operations, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare periodic reports.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget performance.
- Ensure timely tax filings and statutory compliance.
- Support payroll processing, audits, and financial planning.
- Maintain proper documentation and internal financial controls.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and integrity.
- ICAN or ACCA qualification in progress or completed is an advantage.
