About the role
Afconrecruit Limited is looking for a mid-level Accountant to join their team in Abuja or Lagos. In this position, you will manage the company’s financial records, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide management with clear financial insights to support decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
- Prepare budgets, financial statements, and management reports.
- Ensure adherence to tax and statutory compliance requirements.
- Support payroll processing and staff expense management.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Reconcile accounts and monitor cash flow.
- Advise management on financial strategies and decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: HND.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in English.
- Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is preferred.
