About the role
HRLeverage Africa Consulting Limited is recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of digital healthcare infrastructure. We are looking for an Account Manager to oversee financial controls, cash reconciliation, and inventory management. This is a full-time position based in Awotan & Orogun, Ibadan, reporting directly to the General Manager or CEO.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all transactions are captured accurately and promptly in the accounting software.
- Conduct daily and weekly stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Manage daily cash reconciliation at both locations, ensuring sales match cash collected.
- Supervise the Account Clerk and ensure proper shift handovers.
- Manage procurement requests, raise purchase orders, and track deliveries.
- Prepare daily sales and cash reports for the CEO and weekly profit-and-loss (P&L) summaries for each location.
- Coordinate monthly external audits and compliance activities with Taiwo Adewale & Co.
- Enforce segregation of duties between sales personnel and the accounting team.
- Investigate and report stock variances, missing items, and unexplained cash shortfalls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or POS software.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail accounting, inventory management, or financial controls.
- High integrity, strong attention to detail, and a process-driven approach.
- Experience in pharmaceutical retail, FMCG, or healthcare is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Yoruba.
- Ability to identify and report discrepancies or suspected fraud.
