SCOAN: Synagogue in crisis as members reject TB Joshua’s wife, Evelyn as successor


The rocking the Synagogue of All Nations, SCOAN, has taken a fresh twist, with members of the Church Evelyn Joshua, of the late Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, as the deceased successor.

The members under the aegis of Global Congress of SCOAN, (GCSM), said Evelyn is not qualified to succeed Prophet as a leader of SCOAN.

The GCSM explained that T.B. Joshua never anointed Evelyn to succeed him.

SCOAN has been experiencing a leadership crisis following the of its founder a few months go.

Amid the leadership tussle, the Church had confirmed her as Prophet T.B Joshua’s successor.

However, GCSM explained that SCOAN’s new leader should be from the prophets who served the late T. B Joshua.

GCSM made the remark in a statement signed by Adedeji Opeyemi, President of GCSM and Secretary, Brown.

The GCSM said, “We are worried about the emergence of Mrs Evelyn Joshua, the of the late founder who made a unilateral declaration of herself as the new leader of the Church.

“She claimed a congregation of 2000 Church members appointed her. This is ridiculous: Where did the meeting hold? Was it through a Yes vote? Was it through an ? Was it through ‘anointing’ by the 2000 members?

“Where is the resolution of the 2000 members? Can 2000 members pick a successor in a Church with millions of members all over the in five continents? What is the constitution of the Church? Was it followed?

“Pastor TB Joshua never ran the Church on the basis of profit. Today, there is a by the newly self-imposed leader, Mrs Evelyn Joshua, to commercialise every activity in the Church for .

“Mrs. Evelyn Joshua is not a Pastor. She was never anointed by Pastor Joshua. She was not part of the founding members of the Church. What is the basis of her emergence as the person now parading herself as the new leader?
