The Police in Katsina State have succeeded in foiling an attempt to kidnap one Shafi’u Mohammed of Kililin Quarters in Malumfashi LGA by one Saifullahi Usman of
Unguwar Amare Quarters in the same community.

The 32 year-old suspect in a phone conversation with the victim threatened to him or any of his relations if he fails to pay a ransom of fifty thousand naira.
