‘Its sacrifice’ – Joe reveals why his house was down

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has disclosed the reason for the latest attack on his house in Anambra State.

Igbokwe said the burning of his house was of his sacrifice for speaking against violence in the Southeast.

He also disclosed that his house was burnt in an attempt to gag him.

However, Igbokwe said dialogue and not violence remains the best way to achieve things in the Southeast.

Speaking with Channels Tv on Sunday in Lagos, Igbokwe said: “On why my house was torched, I have been an advocate of dialogue, it’s not everything one achieve through violence.

“That’s why they attacked my house, to gag me; though, nobody just material things were destroyed.

“And I said, if that is going to be the sacrifice I’m going to pay for things to be okay, then let it be.”
