Give room for resolution – Makinde tells aggrieved PDP

Governor Seyi Makinde of State has urged the aggrieved members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to give room for resolution of the within the party.

Makinde made this disclosure while on Saturday.

Our correspondent recalls that some aggrieved members of the party had last week passed a vote of no confidence on Makinde.

The aggrieved members accused the Governor of hijacking the party.

The aggrieved members among whom were a former House of Representatives leader, Mulikat Adeola-Akande, former Deputy Governor, Azeem Gbolarumi and other stalwarts of the party vowed to against the governor in the 2023 election.

Makinde has however enjoined the aggrieved members to give room for resolution of the conflict within the party.

He spoke during the ward of the party in Ibadan.
