CONCERNED RIVERS YOUTHS DEMAND ANSWERS AMID INSECURITY IN RIVERS STATE
Some concerned All progressive Congress youths in Rivers State have given the state police command twenty-four hours ultimatum to investigate and release all the party youths under police custody. The group also called for the redeployment of the state commissioner of police MUSA KIMO also called on the state command to end insecurity in the state.
Speaking at a protest by the concerned APC youths at the party secretariat forces avenue port Harcort, the spokesman of the group, Sir Ikenda Clinton Elechi alleged that young men in the state have become target of killings in the state.
Cliton Elechi after pointing out incidents of killings in Ogba egbema Ndoni, Ahoada West and East and Ogoni axis, complained that businesses is cramping and companies are relocating hereby causing hardship to the people because of insecurity and called the federal government to intervene in Rivers state.
On the issue of commission of inquiring commissioned by Governor NYESOM WIKE to investigate the killings in the last re-run elections in the state, Sir Ikenda asked the commission not to over look those who threaten lives before the elections and ensure proper prosecution to the defaulter.
