: Werner warned he’ll be moved on after Tuchel’s

Former striker, Tony Cascarino has warned Timo Werner that he will be ‘moved on’ by the club unless he improves speedily following manager Thomas Tuchel’s comments on him.

Tuchel was pleased Werner scored in ’s League 3-1 win over Southampton on Sunday but later said there was room for improvement in his game.

But Cascarino believes Tuchel’s comments were ‘telling’ and has warned Werner that will sell him unless he improves his finishing.

Werner, 25, has endured a mixed at since joining the Blues from RB Leipzig for £47.5m.

“Thomas Tuchel’s comment that there were “a lot of things to improve” for Timo Werner after his goal against Southampton was telling,” Cascarino told The Times.
